- Open Adobe Photoshop. Create a new document.
- Select Elipse Tool.
- Create a new layer, name it CD. Then draw a circle with the size of 352 pixels. Link the layer with background layer. Select the background layer. Then go the layer menu, select align linked, then select "vertical centers". Do the same for horizondal too.
- Lock the transparent pixels. Edit the foreground color. Select the color "#3F321E" from the palate and fill it.
- Select the brush tool. Enlarge the master diameter, reduce the opacity of the brush to 30%. Painting mode is Multiply. Paint the color right top and left bottom of the circle. A light shade we need.
- Now we are going paint some rainbow colors. Reduce the brush size, painting mode is normal, opacity 100%. Paint the colors (See the picture below).
- Go to the filter menu, then select Blur and then "Gradient Blur".
- Settings: Amount is 6, Blur method spin and the quality is best.
- Select the "Eliptical Marquee" tool, draw a circle with the size of 133 pixels. Align center the selection to the document.
- Select the "CD" layer and press the "delete" key. You will get a hole in the "CD" layer.
- Create a new layer, name it "transparent CD". Set the foreground color to black (Crtl + D). Select the elipse tool then draw a shape with the size of 364 pixels. Align the object center to vertical and horizondal. Redo the step 9 for make a hole. Set the layer transparency is to 25%. Move this layer down. just top of the background layer.
- Create an another layer. Set the foreground color to white. Select the "Elipse Tool" then draw a circle with the size of 145 pixels. Select the Eliptical marquee tool draw a circle with size of 66 pixels then press delete kay to make a hole. Set the transparency for this layer to 77%.
- Create an another layer, name it "Inner stroke" Select the "Elipse" tool then draw a circle with the size of 146 pixels. Align the object center to vertical and horizondal. Set the interior opacity for the layer to 0%. The layer content is now invisible. Add a layer style "Stroke". Size is 3 pixels, position is inside, Blend mode multiply, Opacity 100% and the color is "#4D4D4D"
- Create an another layer, name it "Inner Stroke2". Select the "Elipse" Tool and draw a circle with the size of 72 pixels. Align the object center to vertical and horizondal. Set the interior layer transparancy to 0%. Add a layer style "Stroke". Size is 3 pixels, Position Inside, Blend mode Linear Burn, Opacity 100% and color is "#2E2E2E".
- Create a layer, name it "3D Depth". Select the "Elipse" tool then draw a circle with the size of 131 pixels. Align the object center to vertical and horizondal. Set the interior layer transparency to 0%. Add a layer style "Bevel and Emboss". Style is inner bevel, Technique is smooth, Depth is 610%, Direction is up, Size is zero, Soften zero. Shading tab is to default. Not need any modification.
- Select the CD layer. Go to the " Image" menu then Adjustments then Variations...
- Add more Cyan and more blue. Continue this when you get a blue shade of CD. Press OK.
- Ok.. the CD almost done. Now we are going ad a filter.
- Create a new layer the shortcut kay (don't add it from layer window button). Press and hold the "Ctrl" key then press and hold the "Shift" key then press key "N". A new layer property window appear.
- Name it Lens Flare, Mode is overlay and tick the check box for "Fill the Overlay-neutral color (50% gray). Each layer mode have there own neutral color. That color not shown in the document. It will be transparent.
- Go to the "Filter" menu then "Render" then "Lens Flare". Brightness is 100% and lens type is 50-300 zoom. Press Ok.
- Now you can move the applied lens flare effect anywhere in the document.
- That's it.
