Create lines patterns with Photoshop

Here's How:
  • Open Adobe Photoshop » Create a new document.
  • Open the picture which you want to apply lines pattern.
  • Copy and paste the picture the new document.
  • Create an another new document. Set the width and height to 3 pixels. Resolution 72 pixel/Inch. Contents transparent.
  • Zoom the document to the maximum. Press and hold the "Ctrl" key and press "+" the key.
  • Press and hold the "Ctrl" key and press "D" to set the foreground color default.
  • Select the marquee tool and draw a selection, left top of the document. Draw another selection bottom center and right center (see the image below).
  • Press and hold the "Ctrl" key and press "A"
  • Go to the "Edit" menu and select "Define Pattern".
  • Give a name and press "Ok". Pattern saved.
  • Close the document. Save not needed.
  • In the main document which you want to apply lines, create a new layer. Name it "lines".
  • Go to the "Edit" menu and select "Fill".
  • Select the contents use: pattern, Blending mode: normal and opacity : 100 (See the picture below).
  • That's it. You can make different blending by using "Blending mode" in the layer window. I used "Overlay" for mine.
